Kneeling at a river on a weekend trip, you can refill your bottle and drink without waiting around.
Hauling enough water for a whole weekend gets heavy fast, and a river looks like the obvious answer until you think about what is in it. This straw has a front sand head and tube that catch sediment and particles before the water reaches the membrane.
- Two-stage filtering with sand head and membrane
- 0.01 micron UF membrane
- Bottle adaptor cap included
- Sling and buckle for carrying
Two filtering stages
The front sand head catches sediment and particles first. Then the water goes through the 0.01 micron membrane inside the straw.
Drink straight or use a bottle
You can sip directly from the straw at the water's edge. The bottle adaptor cap fits threaded bottle mouths of 1.2 inch.
Light and easy to pack
The straw is a slim, pen-like shape that slides into a pack pocket. The sling and buckle let you clip it to a strap or loop.
Dust cover for the mouthpiece
A small cover fits over the mouthpiece when the straw is not in use. It keeps the end tidy inside a pack with other gear.
