Pulling into a river stop on a weekend hike, you can refill your bottle without hauling extra water from the trailhead.
Carrying enough water for two days of backpacking gets heavy fast. This straw filter lets you top up from a river or stream along the way instead.
- Triple stage filtration
- 0.01 micron ultrafiltration membrane
- Includes pouch, sand head and lanyard
- Side flush and back flush cleaning
3-stage filtration
Water passes through a pre-filter, a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration membrane and activated carbon fiber. The pre-filter catches sediment and floating bits first.
Pouch and sand head included
The kit comes with a collapsible water pouch and a sand head on a tube. You can scoop river water into the pouch and filter it as you go.
Fits bottles and faucets
A silicone converter lets the straw connect to a mineral water bottle, a squeeze bag or a faucet. It suits bottle mouths of 1.1 - 1.2 inch and standard faucets with a 0.5 - 0.8 inch mouth.
Easy to carry
A detachable lanyard and a pencap-type buckle let you attach the straw to a backpack, belt or belt pocket. It stays in reach at a stream crossing.
